Entropy

Philosophical Implications of Entropy

The Philosophical Implications of Entropy has two parts: an essay and a metaphorical equation.

The choice is either up hill or down hill. All things will go downhill, only living things can choose to go uphill. Other things can go uphill if living things choose it.

The original idea was that heat Entropy is the opposite of information Entropy. And the implication is that one can be traded for the other. To prove that implication I need to prove that it is the same Entropy. And to do that I need to find a formula. In my mind one of them is a log, one of them is t over delta q (or the inverse). The choice is to expend energy or to absorb energy. The fundamental units: action, force, energy, mass. Energy-distance, energy-time, energy/distance, energy/time.

I need to understand Schrodinger’s equation. To some extent I can understand and can picture Maxwell’s equations. Linear over time. Schrodinger’s equations have complex numbers and that brings us into the unit circle. And the transform between the S-Plane and the Z-Plane.
